Factory Built Housing
Factory-built housing is an advanced construction method where the home is engineered and built in a controlled facility using precision manufacturing. The result is superior quality, faster construction timelines, and significantly stronger structural performance compared to traditional site-built wood-frame homes.

Our factory partners are fully licensed and certified by the California Department of Housing and Community Development, ensuring every home meets the highest safety and engineering standards.

Key advantages include:
• Steel-frame structural integrity
• Faster build times and fewer delays
• Strict quality control
• Outstanding energy efficiency
• Reduced waste and environmental impact
• Premium finishes and modern luxury design

Factory-built housing is the future of luxury construction
and we are leading the way in California’s high-end residential sector.
Traditional method: stick-built
Traditional construction is a linear process and highly dependent on the weather. For over a century, it has been the predominant construction method in the U.S., and today it is the main bottleneck in the industry.

Materials
It is based on structural wood (lumber), nails, plaster (drywall) and concrete.
The materials are shipped to the site and left exposed to the elements (rain, humidity, sun) for months, which can degrade their quality before the house is even finished.
Sequential Process
It's like a row of dominoes.
You can't put up the roof without the walls, and you can't put up the walls without the foundation.
If the plumber is late, the electrician can't get in, and the project stops.
Time
In California, an average single-family home takes about 14 months to build (from the start of construction), not counting the 8 to 10 months prior for permits and preliminary design.
Variable Costs
The builder faces the "petty theft" of materials on site, human errors in measurement and, above all, the cost of specialized labor that charges by the hour, including the time spent looking for tools or waiting for other contractors.

FBH: Factory-Built Housing
It is the legal term California uses to refer to factory-built homes that:

-
They are manufactured under official state standards
-
They comply with the same structural, seismic, and safety codes as a traditional house
-
They are permanently installed on an approved foundation
-
They are legally considered Real Estate, not vehicles.
-
It's not a new or experimental concept. It's the regulated evolution of prefabricated housing
